When contacted for comment, a Microsoft spokesperson told Polygon, "Xbox will release an adaptor in early 2014 that allow consumers to connect many brands of wired gaming headsets to the Wireless Controller for gaming and chat audio. Other products on display at Turtle Beach were its Titanfall-branded Atlas headset, which is based on the XO Four model, and will be compatible with Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and the P4 Seven, a PlayStation 4-compatible and officially licensed headset coming sometime this year, offering wired and wireless connection options. That hardware adapter is due sometime this quarter, Turtle Beach said. Those Earforce brand headsets will plug into the Xbox One controller, through the required hardware adapter, which the licensee is still waiting on.
